Steve Sheaffer
Born in the Gulf of Mexico aboard a Braziliano-commandeered Dutch Fluyt, Steve Sheaffer was destined for a pirate’s life from the very beginning.
Passing the early days fishing and swimming in the oceans of the world, Steve learned how to become one with nature and appreciate a man’s place within it. Through his adolescent years, he learned the best lessons of the high seas; how to drink, plunder, and fight!
These skills would suit him well for his long journey to becoming a tattooer. Deciding to try the life of a landlubber, Steve set out to travel far and wide across these great United States, learning numerous trades and educating himself in the ways of love and business. As it often does, tattooing finds those who need it, and back to the pirate’s life it went for Steve. With many years of experience in all aspects of tattooing, he set out for more adventures. After plenty of majestic sunsets, many treacherous and damaging storms, and a few islands marooned upon, he somehow washed up on the beautiful, rocky shores of Maine.
It was in Portland that he planted his jolly roger and welcomes anyone looking for quality work without pretentiousness.

Tony Baris
Tony Baris was born in New York, raised in Connecticut and has been fascinated by and cosmically attracted to tattoos and tattooing as long as he can remember.
From marveling over and studying his father’s Navy tattoos as a kid to finally getting his first tattoo at the age of 17. This first tattoo experience was pure magic! Guns N’ Roses debut album was playing on the stereo in perfect harmony with the buzzing of the tattoo machines and a 17 year old’s idea of eternal coolness was at last within reach! Not having any idea where the road would eventually lead.....
Tony’s tattoo journey had most certainly begun. After obtaining a degree in art and design Tony worked as a photographer until 1998 when he landed a tattoo apprenticeship in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He has since worked along side and learned from some of the best tattooers in the business in New York, Honolulu, Philadelphia, and now Portland, Maine!
Tony specializes in Black and Grey and American Traditional styles of tattooing and gives each tattoo he does every bit of special attention it needs and deserves.
